“The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, the wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms.”

- Zen Master Thick Nhat Hahn

I specialize in Walking & Talking.  Simply stated, it’s therapy while walking, therapy outdoors, therapy on the go! Whether you want to stroll in the park, hike in the canyon, or barefoot the beach, walking and talking is talk therapy and walking combined.  In walking and talking we intentionally connect the mind to the body. The very nature of sitting is stagnant. Sitting decreases overall body flow, reduces expression and can even simulate feeling stuck. Walking is a literal step in a direction towards getting unstuck! Movement in the session leads to non-stagnation.

Walking & Talking is great for:

  • people who feel stuck in their careers or relationships

  • people who are experiencing grief

  • people with difficulty regulating emotions

  • people who experience symptoms of depression and/or anxiety

  • parents with children in strollers

  • pet owners who wish to bring theirs pet(s) with them

“Walking is a step-by-step process, a regular and rhythmic process, it allows both halves of the brain to talk to each other. When we walk...the intuitive half and the rational half get a chance to converse.”

- Julia Cameron
